Lonavala-The Monsoon Retreat

Lonavala is a popular hill station and a tourist spot situated between Pune and Mumbai in Maharashtra. There is also a small waterfall near the sanctuary which serves as a bathing point during the monsoon months.

Lonavala is oh so famous items like Chikki, fudges, Masala Chai, Vada Pav, bhajiyas, chivda and wafers. Maganlal Chikki Center is the best shop to pack some chikki for you and your loved ones. As for shopping, Lonavala Bazaar is the hub and has shops selling an array of goodies including wooden handicrafts, trinkets and other local specialities. The market is also lined up with several shops that sell various types of snacks.
